Newest Outfit Photoshoot

Hello again. It's been a loooooong time since I've last posted anything- y'know, life and all. I've recently bought a sewing machine, a Singer Promise 2, and I've gotten used to that. This post highlights a skirt I made with it, with Lucy the Our Generation doll wearing it. The skirt is paired with a white long-sleeved shirt of unknown origins, a scarf that came with a stuffed dog, and the MAG boots. Also, Coconut the dog and a leash made my me. Here are the photos.
 "Let's go on a walk!"
Such creative angling, don't you agree?
Thank you, hose, for being in the picture. Really appreciate it.
 Dat hair.
A good view of the front of the outfit. But wacky hair... Oopsies!

I should be posting a dollhouse tour soon, but maybe as individual rooms because they all pretty much have good lighting at different times.

Hello again. For my birthday on the 21st, we went to the Mall of America in Minneapolis, MN. I brought one AG doll, Alexis. Here are the photos (albeit a meager amount).
In front of the amusement park and AG store
Julie is my mom's favorite character.
Alexis sits by a peaceful pond. My dolls sure do have an affinity for ponds.
                                                           You look familiar...
In the end, I got a guitar and a shirt. Very festive.

Expect a dollhouse tour soon, or doll bios. I always wait a long time before posting. Procrastination bad. Responsibility good. Sadly, I cannot be trusted with these things.

Elizabeth at the Arch

Hello again. While in Missouri, we went to the Arch in Saint Louis. For anyone who doesn't know, it's a monument marking the Jefferson expansion and the journey west of so many people. I took Elizabeth up and got about 1 photo that wasn't super backlit. Here are all of the photos.
Even the parking lot is pretty!
We couldn't get far enough away to get the full arch... so yeah.
We found a mini monument!
 The view is gorgeous.
The one photo I got out of bringing Elizabeth to the top. The. One. Photo.
The random taxidermic animals at the museum.

We're back now, so stay tuned for a dollhouse tour...

Elizabeth on the Farm

Hello again. While we were at the farm, I managed to get some decent photos. Here they are:
 Elizabeth going for a walk.
Picking beans-she found one her own size. :)
 Chilling on the hammock
 Exploring the backyard
After a few days, I got her close enough to the animals to take some cool photos.

Stay tuned for photos of the Saint Louis Arch...

Missouri Trip

Hello again. I recently took a trip to Missouri and brought Elizabeth, my loyalest and longest-lived doll. Here are the photos.

We stayed in Kansas City two nights to go to the Maker Faire, to which I did not bring Elizabeth.
The view from our room in the daylight:
 and at night:

                                                   Elizabeth enjoys the hotel furniture.
"This bed is a cloud compared to what I have to sleep on every night!"
Exploring the hotel's indoor garden and waterfall.
                                                                  Calming, really.
"I want to press the button."
Reading up on the sights in the city
Exploring all of the fountains and things near the hotel.
We didn't have time to go to the AG store :((( but oh well, we're going to Minneapolis next week anyway. Stay tuned for more Missouri pics.

A Little Bit of My Doll Rooms

Hello again.
In my studio, I have several doll rooms of my own creation. This includes 5 bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, and a pet room. Here are some pictures of the rooms.

Welcome to My Blog!

Hello, I'm Abby. I like things like mixed media artwork, gardening, being creative, photography, writing, reading, grammar, technology, the occasional boy band, and American Girl dolls. So, pretty much like a normal Wisconsin 13-year-old, but with dolls and crafts. So, aided by a glue gun, 4 American Girls, 1 Hearts 4 Hearts Doll, 1 Our Generation doll, 5 Monster High Dolls, and a few other inanimate objects, I will share my doll craft exploits with the world! As an introduction to my blog, here are some pictures from outdoor photo shoots with two of my dolls, Venus and Elizabeth.
That, my friends, is one tall dandelion.
Stop and smell the weeds, too.
                                                                      What a view!
After all of that tree climbing, I need a break.
                                                          This view is almost better.
Wow, I found a great perch!
I can see my house from here.
This is a big tree. What's with all of these huge plants?

Venus McFlytrap is a Monster High Ghoul Spirit doll, Elizabeth Cole is a retired American Girl historical character.
